HOW IT WORKS

Morpheus8

With its deep penetrating microneedling combined with radiofrequency delivered at multiple depths, Morpheus8 can kill the bacteria that cause acne outbreaks. Not only that, but as new collagen and elastin production is stimulated, powerful healing and remodeling of the skin occurs. So if you want clear, blemish-free skin, Morpheus8 delivers remarkable results.

With its combination of radiofrequency and microneedling, Morpheus8 delivers remarkable results fading acne scars and making them far less obvious. Typically 3 treatments are recommended for the best results. By applying a simple anesthetizing cream about an hour in advance, the procedure is virtually pain free with little to no downtime.

Lumecca

Lumecca offers another approach to acne treatment using intense pulsed light or IPL, and is particularly well-suited to treating mild outbreaks, where improving skin tone and texture is a key objective.

TREATMENT TIPS

Avoid wearing makeup to your appointment, or we’ll need to remove it before your treatment.

Avoid Retinol, active ingredients, and at-home peels for at least 7 days prior to your treatment.

Avoid Botox or filler treatments, or resurfacing for at least 2 weeks prior.

Avoid any type of tanning 3 to 4 weeks prior to treatment or use at least 30 SPF sunblock.

If you’ve been sunburned recently, it’s best to wait 3 weeks to a month before this treatment.

We recommend receiving this treatment a few days before an event, since you may experience some redness and flaking.

With Lumecca

Makeup can be applied immediately after treatment.

Include at least a 30 SPF sunscreen in your daily routine for at least 3 weeks after treatment.

Moisturizer should be applied after treatment.

With Morpheus8

Do not apply makeup 1-2 days after your service.

Avoid acids, Retinols, harsh scrubs, and exfoliants until you’re fully healed, about 5-10 days after treatment.

Avoid products and sun exposure for the first couple of days after your treatment.

Include at least a 30 SPF sunscreen in your daily routine.

You’ll likely experience noticeable redness, and possibly swelling, afterwards.

Do not pick any of the small scabs that may appear as a result of the microneedling process.

A cool compress or cooling masque will alleviate the swelling quicker.

Avoid working out or any activity where you break a sweat for 1-2 days after treatment.

Can you really help eliminate active acne?

Yes, with protocols we’ve developed using Morpheus8, we can treat multiple depths simultaneously. The heat generated by the RF energy kills the bacteria that causes acne outbreaks, while simultaneously stimulating collagen and elastic production which causes the skin to take on a smoother, more even glow.

How soon will I see results?

Results will vary from person to person, depending on the severity of their acne, however we find that improvements may be noticeable in as little as 48 hours to about two weeks.

Will it work on acne scars and active acne?

Yes, depending on the type of treatment it will result in the clearing of the active acne, as well as softening of the acne scars.
