WHY WE LOVE IT

InMode’s Forma V provides Breast Cancer Survivors dramatic relief from intense vaginal dryness and recurrent UTIs

HOW IT WORKS

Traditional treatments have included creams, moisturizers, lubricants and suppositories. All of these can be messy and inconvenient.

Forma V uses radiofrequency to stimulate collagen and elastin production to revitalize vaginal tissue, eliminating the constant need to apply creams and suppositories. Despite the absence of estrogen, feminine moisture returns and patients become much more comfortable in all aspects of their lives, including intimate relations.

Sometimes breast cancer patients who have been prescribed drug therapies that remove estrogen from their systems experience what appear to be recurrent UTIs. If a urine culture does not show actual signs of infection, extreme dryness of the vaginal tissue may be causing the symptoms. In that case, the tissue around the bladder can be treated with Forma V. This treatment stimulates blood flow to the area, along with increased collagen and elastin production. This can dramatically reduce the occurrence of UTI symptoms and other issues related to vaginal dryness.

What our patients are saying

FAQ

Is Forma V safe for cancer patients?

Yes, absolutely. We had some of our most profound success treating breast cancer patients who have been forced to remove all the estrogen from their systems. However, we do like to have clearance from your oncologist, especially if you’ve had chemotherapy recently.

Can Forma-V cure UTI’s?

Sometimes women present with all the symptoms and discomfort of a UTI. However, in cases where an infection is not present, but vaginal dryness is, we can treat with Forma V and relieve the symptoms and discomfort patients normally associate with a UTI. Furthermore, the collagen and elastin production stimulated by the treatment makes the tissue in the vaginal area much more robust and less likely to exhibit the symptoms of a UTI.

How many treatments does it take?

That depends on your condition and how severe your issue is. But typically most patients require between one and three treatments.

Is Forma V painful?

No. We use a very effective, topical anesthetic to ensure your comfort. That enables us to do a very thorough treatment, with enough power to provide noticeable results.

How long do the treatments last?

It varies from person to person depending on your condition, but typically we see treatments lasting from six months to more than a year. Usually we find that a single touch up treatment will be good for another six months to a year.
